![]() Kristen Agostinucci, age 18 Kristen recently started riding and FHF and took the farm by full force. She spent the winter riding Jack and with the summer started a lease on Queen's Forty Love, aka "Forty." Kristen and Forty started off the summer at Mystic Valley Hunt Club Horse Trials where they placed 8th out of about 20 and had a clean cross country go! Very impressive considering Forty is only 5! Kristen and Forty also attended Valinor Farm Horse Trials where they made it clear cross country and stadium! Kristen and Forty also rode with Eric Horgan and Evi Rainsborough this past June. Kristen and Forty most recently placed 7th out of a huge field at Lord Creek Horse Trials! Kristen currently attends the University of Rhode Island and is looking forward to an upcoming show season with forty! Rachael Asadorian, age 17 Rachael imported Eamon from Ireland as a
5-year-old with just the basics in training. She has worked with him
for four years and brought him into training level eventing and
First Level dressage. In 2007, Rachael placed in the top 10 in every
horse trial they attended. 2006 Sarah Asadorian, Age 20 Sarah and Jack have been together almost 4 years. While Sarah loves dressage and Jack enjoys jumping, they can be found at a variety of shows from eventing to dressage to jumpers, usually dressed in their token color, lime green. She has shown at Red Rock Horse Trials, Apple Knoll Horse Trials, Green Acres Farm Horse Trials, Lord Creek Farm Horse Trials, Valinor Farm Horse Trials and Tyrone Farm 2-Phase as well as Charles River dressage and various jumper shows. Sarah has ridden with Eric Horgan, Judy Westlake, Evi Rainsborough, Evonne Coleman Larson, Rachel Greene-Lowell and attended the Eckart Meyners symposium in Maryland in 2005. Sarah now rides for the University of New Hampshire dressage team at lower training. The University of New Hampshire Dressage team just became the first state school ever to win Nationals! Ciara Cummiskey, Age 13
Ciara bought her pony Delilah at 3 years old and
has been working with her ever since. For the past four years they
have shown in hunters, jumpers, gymkhana, and Registered Morgan
divisions at Tri-State Horsemen’s Open Shows. Delilah and Ciara
received the 2007 Tri-State Interactive Horse of the Year Award for
the Open and Dressage divisions. In 2008 Ciara and Delilah received
year end champion in three divisions at the Open shows, Youth
Gymkhana, Novice Jumpers, and Registered Morgan. Their hard work
paid off when they were honored with the 2008 Tri-State Versatility
Horse and Rider Team of the Year. Ciara started riding with Pam in
May of 2008 and in October 2008 she competed in her first horse
trials and earned a 33% in dressage. During the summer she also rode
with Eric Horgan in two clinics. Ciara is hoping to compete in more
horse trials with Delilah in the upcoming year. Ciara also recently
purchased a new 2-year old Morgan, Faithfully, Delilah’s half
sister. Ciara is looking forward to working with her this year as
well.
Sarah Disarro, age 19 Sarah has been a long time friend of Faith Hill Farm through riding at Red Rock. We are now fortunate enough to have Sarah as a full time FHF rider and avid eventer! Sarah took an instant liking to Clue and began eventing him this past May. They have done Mystic Valley Horse Trials and Valinor Farm Horse Trials together, both very successfully! Sarah most recently won 6th place on Clue at Lord Creek Horse Trials! She has also ridden with Eric Horgan and Evi Rainsborough. Sarah attends Saint Anslem College for Nursing. Best of luck for the rest of the show season Sarah and Clue! Laura purchased her mare I Cestelli in 2007 from Germany where "Stelli" competed at the M and S levels. Stelli is a 17.2 hand 13 year old Holsteiner. Laura has trained with Pam at Faith Hill Farm since she began riding in 1993. She competed in the FEI Juniors with her previous horse and has also received her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals. She has been lucky enough to ride with Karl Mikolka, Ekart Meyners, Evi Rainsborough, Eric Horgan, and many other clinicians at Faith Hill Farm. She was selected to ride at the USDF Region 8 Jr/YG Clinics for the past two years and spring 2008 traveled to Florida to train, compete, and ride with Anne Gribbons at the Young Rider Clinic. Laura and Stelli also qualified for the NAJYRC Region 8 team and competed in Kentucky. Summer of 2009 brought Laura a new project, "Red Iron" aka Red. Laura successfully showed both Stelli and Red at PSG and I-1 levels and is currently the highest level rider at FHF. Laura is currently a senior at Connecticut College and commutes to Faith Hill Farm throughout the winter to train. This past fall semester Laura studied abroad in Germany. Laura is excited for a full show season for summer of 2010 and has already started preparing with an intensive training session with Lendon Gray in Januray of 2010.
Mollie and her Irish Sport Horse, Last Rolo, had almost 3 full years of success in dressage and eventing. In Mollie’s first year with Rolo, she was the training level champion at Lendon’s Youth Dressage Festival. From there, Mollie has continued on with horse trials and many clinics with great instructors including Eric Horgan, Evi Rainsborough and Sally Cousins. Mollie and Rolo were very successful last year and competed in several sanctioned horse trials all over New England. Mollie started working with another Irish Sport Horse named Taldi this past September. Mollie and Taldi had a great 2009 show season, most recently placing 5th in Novice at Lord Creek Horse Trials!
Kelly Hendrick Kelly started her show career with Queen's Forty Love competeing at small events, jumper shows and training level dressage. Summer of 2008, Kelly successfully showed Delamere, a gorgeous Rhinelander. Most recently, Kelly purchased "Mali" from Germany and has successfully been showing her in first and second levels. Kelly has come into immediate success with Mali, with a 70% and a 73% at their very first show! Kelly and Mali had continued success at Mystic Valley Dressage and Westbrook Dressage! Kelly has earned her Bronze Medal in merely 3 months, which is amazing. At NEDA fall Kelly was very successful with scores in the high 60s and a reserve championship in the adult amateur 2nd level championship class. She also competed in the USDF region 8 first level championship class in which she earned 5th place with a 66.57%!! January of 2010, Kelly travelled with Mali to NY for an intensive training weekend with Lendon Gray to prepare for the upcoming show season. Kate Mancosh, age 14 Kate purchased Sam in 2008 and they immediately hit the dressage arena. At her first competition, Charles River Dressage Schooling Show, Kate won first place in Training Level Test 4 with a score of 68% and First Level Test 1 with a 70%! What a great way to start the season! There is sure to be much more success in their future. Kate recently qualified for the dressage championships. Kate has ridden with Evi Rainsborough and Eric Horgan. Kate and Sam started out strong the 2009 show season competing in 2nd and 3rd Level. Kate has just recently earned her bronze medal as well. Kate recently qualified for the Region 8 championships at NEDA Fall in 2nd and 3rd Levels. Most recently Kate was high score junior at HITS! Keep up the good work! Allison Nasin Allie Nasin has been riding at FHF since she was on the Intercollegiate team at URI. After she graduated, she continued to train with Pam and the many clinicians that visit FHF. Recently Allie purchased Solo, a Hanoverian cross, and has begun some dressage training and successfully showed in several dressage shows this past summer. Allie and Solo will hit the show rings again this summer! Allie has ridden with Eric Horgan and Evi Rainsborough as well. Allie is also on the board of directors for the Mystic Chamber of Commerce. Allie and Solo started off strong the 2009 show season with a 64% and a 70% at Charles River Dressage! Best of Luck to Allie and Solo for the rest of the season. Stephanie Nowak, age 17 Stephanie Nowak is 17 years old and started riding at Faith Hill Farm in third grade after receiving two lessons for her birthday. Three years ago she purchased Coriall, a 17.1 h chestnut gelding trained to I-1; the pair has been competing at the FEI Jr. level as well as Prix St. George. Always encouraged to raise the bar by Pam, she has been fortunate to ride under the instruction of Karl Milkolka, Evi Rainsborough, Eckart Meyners, Eric Horgan, and Judy Westlake. Through the Junior Young rider clinic series she has ridden with Sue Blinks, Kathy Connelly, Jan Ebeling and recently traveled to Wellington Florida to ride in a clinic with Steffen Peters. Completing her Bronze Medal in 2007, she was also the USDF Youth Sportsman Representative for Region 8 and was placed on Lendon’s Youth Dressage Festival board, by Lendon Grey herself. In 2006, riding Pam’s Delamere, Stephanie was the Region 8 Seat Medal Winner receiving the highest equitation score in the show’s history of an 87. In 2007, riding Coriall, she was the Reserve Champion for the FEI and 4th Level Junior Division in Region 8 and also placed first in the Junior Division at Lendon’s Youth Dressage Festival. Last summer she was the first alternate to the US Region 8 Junior Young Rider Team that competed in Virginia. The team took her along as their staff and she got to experience the excitement of the North American Junior Young Rider Championships. In March she competed in Wellington at the FEI Jr. level and received scores in the mid-high 60’s. At Centerline Events, Westbrook Dressage show, Stephanie took first place in all three of her classes, getting high 60’s on all her tests. She most recently achieved her Silver Medal this year and made the Region 8 Junior Team allowing her to compete in the NAJYRC in Colorado.
Kristen Nowak, age 13 Kristen Nowak is 13 years old, and has been riding at Faith Hill Farm for five years. She began her lessons on Silhouette (Silly) and entered dressage and jumping competitions with him receiving high scores and ribbons many times. Most notably she placed first in her division in 2005 at the Lendon’s Youth Dressage Festival (Dressage4kids). Currently she is training and competing on her new pony No Way Jose. Last year Kristen received scores in the 60’s at training level. In the 2009 show season, Kristen and Jose have been successfully competing First and Second level. Kristen and Jose were also chosen to participate in a FEI pony clinic with Lendon Gray, Courtney King and others. Kristen recently won 4th place at the National Seat Championships in Chicago, Illinois in the 13 and under division, on a horse she's never ridden- WOW! Awesome job Kristen! Kristen also qualified for the Children of America Dressage Invitational in October 2009. At NEDA Fall, Kristen and Jose had great scores at 1st and 2nd level, including an 80% in the equitation medal class! In December 2009, Kristen was accepted into a pony clinic with Michael Barisone. In January of 2010, Kristen travelled to NY for an intensive training weekend with Lendon Gray to prepare for the upcoming show season.
Nicole Nowak, age 13 Nicole Nowak is 13 years old, and has been riding at Faith Hill Farm for five years. She started her lessons in dressage and soon added stadium jumping to her weekly schedule with Pam. In 2005 she placed third, riding Hooligan, in the Training Division at Lendon Gray's Youth Dressage Festival. Nicole recently started leasing a cute bay Connamara gelding named Petey. Nicole and Petey have been successfully competing in First and Second Level in the 2009 show season. Nicole and Petey were also chosen for the FEI pony clinic and had the opportunity to ride with Lendon Gray, Courtney King and others. Nicole most recently qualified for the Children of America Dressage Invitational in October 2009. In December 2009, Nicole was accepted into a pony clinic with Michael Barisone. She also attended an intense training session with Lendon Gray in January of 2010 to start preparing for the upcoming show season.
Erin Scott, DVM Erin Scott rode at Faith Hill Farm for 10 years when she was younger. She competed a lot and attended the Northeast Junior Young Rider Championships twice. She then went on to the University of New Hampshire where she graduated Summa cum Laude with a BS in animal science. She made everyone proud when she was accepted into the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She now practices Veterinary Medicine in a small practice in Foxboro, MA. She's started riding again and focuses on Dressage. She's currently leasing "Greenspan," a 7-year-old, off the track thoroughbred. At their first competition they received scores in the 60s and won training level test 1. Best of luck to Erin and Greenspan! Ellie Sharpe, age 18 Ellie Sharpe and her gorgeous mare, Sally, are currently competing in USEF Juniors in competitions around New England. Ellie is currently ranked 15th in the nation and 1st in region 8 as of April 2008. She placed third in the Region 8, 3rd Level Championships in 2007. Ellie has been fortunate enough to ride with Karl Milkolka, Evi Rainsborough, Eric Horgan, Judy Westlake, Kathy Connelly and Bill McMullin. Ellie is looking forward to more successes in the dressage arena and made the North American Juniors team this year and competed for Region 8 in Colorado! Ellie has most recently been accepted into the Brown University Class of 2013! Ellie rides Novice for the Brown team and has been placing extremely well with several wins. Savannah Sheldon, Age 21 Savannah began riding at age 6 at a 4H
English/Western barn in Hanna Soderstrom, age 17 Hanna Soderstrom has just gotten back into the dressage scene after a couple years off, but is right back where she left off. Hanna has ridden in clinics with Evi Rainsborough, Judy Westlake, Bill Warren and Bill McMullin, and Eric Horgan. Hanna just recently travelled to Germany to purchase a horse with the help of Evi Rainsborough, to compete at the FEI Junior/Young Rider levels with. She recently started working with Ariva, her new 9-year-old Bavarian mare. She and Ariva are currently showing First Level successfully.
